The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
-Nahum 1:7
If you feel like there's no one who you can trust or no one who understands what you are going through--God does. It says that He KNOWS those who take refuge in Him. The word 'knows' in Hebrew means an experiential knowledge. It's deeper than a superficial acquaintance.
God knows you inside and out.
He knows exactly what you are feeling and what you are facing. As you walk through the craziness that life can bring, rest in knowing that God sees you, knows you, and loves you. He is your stronghold. Take refuge in Him.
